My counselling psychotherapy Private Practice is conveniently situated 5 mins walk from central St. Albans City Rail Hertfordshire. Parking is available if required.

My flexible practice hours are both daytime and evenings for those that have a busy schedule.Upon request I am also available to consult via Zoom, Skype, WhatsApp and FaceTime.

As an experienced practitioner offering psychotherapy in Hertfordshire coupled with counselling support.My aim is to help my clients identify and manage troubling thoughts and emotions and change maladaptive behaviours.

Psychotherapy is a collaborative treatment based on the relationship between the psychotherapist and their client.Grounded in dialogue, I provide a supportive space that allows my clients to talk openly with someone who is objective, empathetic and non-judgmental.We can work together to identify and change your thought and behaviour patterns that are keeping you from feeling your best.If your quality of life isn’t what you need it to be, psychotherapy can help you.My psychotherapy practice in Hertfordshire is integrative.I use a blend of psychology, cognitive behavioural theory, psychodynamics, person centred and transpersonal approaches.

FAQ/Fees

After your initial enquiry our first free 30 minute telephone consultation session will give us both the opportunity to get a sense of whether we are able to work together. Once I have asked you some background questions around your presenting issues, you will have a chance to ask me any questions or areas of concern surrounding our future sessions together.

We can agree to meet on a weekly basis for an initial block of six individual or couple 50 min sessions with a view to ongoing sessions thereafter.

For those who have a busy schedule the days/times of these sessions are flexible. After the six weeks we can evaluate your current needs and agree to an extended time period thereafer.

As a practicing counselling psychotherapist I am committed to Continued Professional Development and attend regular Supervision. I follow the Code of Ethics as set out by the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and the British Association for Counselling Psychotherapy (BACP). All therapeutic sessions are held in strictest confidence.

Daytime:

Monday - Thursday: 10am-7pm

Friday: 10am-3pm

Online sessions: Individuals £65.00 Couples: £75.00

I ask my clients to pay their fees online 24 hours prior to session commencing. Alternatively, cash after session ends. Invoices can be provided upon request.

Appointments are not refundable in any circumstances. If cancelled with more than 48 hours notice they may be rearranged at a mutually convenient time at no extra charge.
